Protocolo de Transferência de Arquivos em Redes Industriais: Considerações sobre Implementação e Desempenho: In the Computer Integrated Manufacturing (CIM) it's aimed the integration of corporate-wide information systems using industrial networks as basic blocks to reach connectivity. The Manufacturing Automation Protocol (MAP) architecture is an international standard compatible with the reference model from ISO (International Standards Organization). The File Transfer Access and Management (FTAM) protocol is a MAP standard which is very important in networks for manufacturing. In this paper are defined the services and the protocol for file manipulation in an heterogeneous environment and are discussed implementation aspects which influence both in the performance and in the processing capabilities on the host computer in an industrial network.
